Comfort Central Inc. provides professional home services in Hagerstown, MD and surrounding areas. All services are subject to availability and may vary by location. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

Service appointments are scheduled based on availability. We make every effort to arrive within the scheduled time window.

• Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance when possible
• Missed appointments without notice may be subject to a service call fee
• Emergency services are available and may be subject to after-hours rates

All pricing is provided upfront before work begins. Estimates are based on the information available at the time of assessment and may be adjusted if additional work is discovered.

• Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed
• We accept major credit cards, checks, and approved financing
• Any changes to the scope of work will be communicated and approved before proceeding

Written estimates describe the work we propose based on the conditions we can observe at the time of assessment. Concealed conditions — for example, hidden duct damage, buried plumbing, electrical capacity limits, or code deficiencies discovered after work begins — may require a revised scope, which we will explain and price before proceeding.

• Estimates are valid for the period stated on the estimate document
• Equipment availability and pricing from manufacturers may change without notice
• Free-estimate and second-opinion offers apply to the evaluations described on the corresponding pages of this website and may not combine with other offers

We stand behind our work with applicable warranties on labor and parts. Manufacturer warranties may apply to installed equipment and components. Warranty terms and duration vary by service type and will be provided at the time of service. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or third-party modifications.

Where required, installations and replacements are performed under the applicable local permitting and inspection process, and we work to the mechanical and plumbing codes in force in your jurisdiction (Maryland, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia).

• Utility rebate and incentive programs are operated by the utilities and agencies that fund them; eligibility rules, amounts, and deadlines are set by those programs and can change or end without notice
• Information about rebates on this website is provided as a courtesy and verified as of the date noted on the page; the program’s own terms always control
• Homeowner association and historic-district approval requirements, where applicable, are the homeowner’s responsibility, though we can help with equipment placement documentation

To help us perform work safely and efficiently, we ask that customers:

• Secure pets during service visits
• Disclose known issues with the property that may affect the work
• Ensure an adult (18+) is present or reachable during scheduled service, unless otherwise arranged

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Comfort Central Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.
